Several people have been injured following a Delta Airlines aircraft from LA to Sydney, Australia encountered significant turbulence on Friday morning.

Delta Flight 41 "encountered brief turbulence" as it touched down at the Sydney airport, a company official informed. Several cabin crew members sustained injuries.

The New South Wales Ambulance Service reported they assessed a total of five people, and transferred a trio to hospital with relatively minor issues that such as pain in the back and head pain. The patients' ages were between their 30s up to the 70s.
