In a bizarre crossover event that breaks usual forecasts, the game developer has revealed an in-game collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering complimentary bonus story content for Shadows players.

Strange Mission Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual meeting pulls heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a new quest, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous transformations resonate through the obscurity." The narrative introduces a "strangely attired woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.

The adventure focuses on "peculiar experiments and a terrifying enemy" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Familiar Settings and Changes

The teaser showcases the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family handed down the Founding Titan ability through ages. The trailer concludes with a powerful moment showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Items and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the quest will obtain an unique katana together with numerous objects concealed throughout the area in secret chests. The update also contains purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
